Huangguoshu
The waterfall of Huangguoshu is not only the one of the largest in the whole Asia, but is undoubtelly an amazing view. Tourists overcrowd the area, but it's still possible to find some good spots from where to capture the waterfall in all its majesty.

Olives at sunset
It was almost sunset time at Capo Milazzo, and olives were projecting their long shadows as the sun was going down; I had never been in SIcily in winter, and I could not imagine so much greeen around. The combination of clouds, the sun hiding behind the olives and adding a golden hue, and the green grass made for a wonderful, bucolic image.

Sunset in Novara di Sicilia
I took this photo in Novara di Sicilia, a wonderful village between Nebrodi and Peloritani mountains. During the long exposure photo, the lights turned on, helping creating this beautiful composition.

Moria Gate
With its name deriving from the famous Tolkien's novel, the Moria Gate Arch is an impressive limestone tunnel formed by the Oparara River. Being 19 meters high, and 43 meters wide, the view inside is impressive; even more on a heavy rainy day, as when I had the chance to adventure on the track taking me there

Lost in the wild
What a beautiful afternoon I spent in the Killarney National Park in Ireland.
Torc Waterfall (Easach Toirc in Irish), at the base of Torc Mountain, is a wonderful place by itself, but the short walk through the forest to get there is nothing but magic. The path is also part of the Kerry Ring walking route and other circular walking routes which are worth exploring.ColorColourCounty KerryFloraGreenIrelandKillarney National ParkLocationMossNational ParkParkPlantSeasonSummerTorc WaterfallTree
Le Petit Prince
This photo will be forever dedicated to my best friend Mara. As soon as she's seen this photo, she fell in love with it, and cited "Le Petit Prince" with this wonderful sentence, which perfectly described my feeling while I was there, soon after sunset: ~J'ai toujours aimé le désert. On s'assoit sur une dune de sable. On ne voit rien. On n'entend rien. Et cependant quelque chose rayonne en silence...~ [Antoine de Saint-Exupéry]

Caravan in the rising night
In the desert, I saw something I had never seen before.
I've been in Erg Chebbi, in Morocco, during the Christmas night.
It was soon after sunset, the sky was clear.
It was then, when I've seen the night rising. It was something incredible: the dark night was just rising from the horizon, and as time was passing, it was filling the sky, from East to West. And between the day and the night, there was a strip of colours. I was amazed.BlueColorColourDesertErg ChebbiFeaturesGoldLocationMeknèsTafilaletMerzougaMoroccoOrangePinkPurpleSandSand DunesSeasonSkySunSunsetWinter

Cascades d'Ouzoud
The waterfalls of Ouzoud are an amazing natural attraction not far from Marrakech. A place where to spend a night, in the nice camping just below the falling water, which creates the soundtracks for your sleep.

Cloudy sunrise on Monte Chaberton
After a night spent in my tent on the Lac Gignoux, I had the chance to see this amazing clouds show on the Mont Chaberton.

Monte Chaberton
With its 3131m above sea level, Mont Chaberton is on the border between France and Italy, in the French Alps (thought it was actually Italian until 1947). On the summit, Italians built an artillery battery with 8 turrets pointed towards France. During the second world war, they were destroyed by French mortars.
The top can be reached from different start points, and all ways are really nice and interesting.
I took this picture while descending from the Col du Gimont and the Lac Gignoux, where I spent the night.
Clouds were staring to form, and created a wonderful view on the mountain.AlpsBlackClaviereCloudsColorColourEvergreenFeaturesFloraGrassItalyLocationMonte ChabertonMountainPiemonteSeasonSkySummerTorinoTreeTurinWhite
